Update: I've been quite slack for the past 4 weeks, thanks to my SSC option... clinical hypnosis!
So what's it all about? A lot of people, myself included, have this preconceived perception that it involves a mustachioed villain swinging a clock-watch back and forth... . Now that couldn't be further from the truth.

Basically, the practitioner (like me =P) will start talking in a slow, smooth, hushed voice to the subject (that's you!) and gradually make you close your eyes one way or another. [I still need the scripts to do this although I'm supposed to know them by heart for my exam next week!] Then I continue reading different scripts depending on which I think is most suitable for you. Then if you need some ego-boosting (heh), bad habit breaking, phobia tackling or smoking cessation, I will go on to those specific scripts. After that I wake you up! Ta-daaa! Not magic is it? And it's completely safe, you're completely aware of what's going on and you can't be forced to say anything against your will!
It's a really interesting course but I'm getting a bit bored of it now heh. I know I shouldn't be complaining coz the classes themselves are very, and I mean VERY, relaxing. I spend half of the class time having my eyes closed either being hypnotised by the lecturer or a fellow student. Now what kind of lecture can top that!? There's actually some work for me to do though. I have to find 20 volunteers to hypnotize and I'm not even half way there yet. Most people are busy having exams and I am not keen enough to go hunting for volunteers haha.

So I've been thinking... why is it human nature that we take things for granted until they're gone? It's quite ironic that most of the time we don't pay as much attention as we should to the people/things we care most about, and yet they're right by our side the whole time. It's only when something's gone wrong, that we start thinking that we should have appreciated it more and gave the care that it deserves.
I've been guilty of taking things/people for granted before... I will not do that anymore! *mental note to self*

Moussaka and Rice-filled Pepper. (Oops I've started eating already =D)
The yummy Deep-fried Calamari!
